After lunch we headed to the
Little Rock
Zoo and spent a couple hours checking out the scene there.
It was August so the weather was hot but it wasn't unbearable. The zoo is pretty nice for a city this size and has a decent variety of exhibits along with a few marquee ones. The giraffes and elephants are very well done and a new African penguin exhibit and some a great apes area are definite must see stops.
