One of the most well-known streets in the
world, Beale Street, in downtown Memphis is a site to be seen. Only about 4 city blocks long, Beale is closed to vehicular traffic and is home to some of the best blues joints, bars, and restaurants in the U.S. We decided to hit Memphis on the first weekend in June so the temperatures were hot, the humidity were high, and crowds were in full force.
