The museum is very well setup and the contents are full of thoroughly interesting personal accounts that can be quite moving.  You really get a picture for what immigrants went through in trying to get into America and establish a better life.  But it also detailed what it was like for American officials to deal with this rush of aliens, some sick, some disabled, some worse!
