Hickory Run State Park, Pennsylvania (September, 2003)

Half our party opted out of the hike so they shuttled to the southern trailhead to pick us up.  From there you can take a quick side trip down a ¾ of a mile trail to see Hawk Falls.

It's well worth the short, downhill trip to see the falls from several vantage points.  To see some quick video of the falls in motion click here.

If you wanted, start at the boulder field, see Hawk Falls and hike back it would be a nice 9 mile dayhike.  Also, we ran out of time but the Shades of Death Trail and the Hickory Run Trail both looked pretty nice too.
