Ricketts Glen State Park, Pennsylvania (September, 2003)

We decided to tackle the 7.2 mile Falls Trail loop.  It is by far the highlight of the park as it features 21 waterfalls between 11 feet tall and 94 feet tall.  Most of those are contained in about 3 miles of trail.

We started at the trailhead on Highway 118 at the south end of the park.

The first 1.8 miles from the trailhead to "Waters Meet" were right along this stream.  It was fairly flat but was also fairly rambunctious.  This in itself would have made a nice hike, but then at about 1.5 miles the waterfalls started and didn't stop.
