This is "Water Meet." From here the
trail breaks off into the loop. To the east is the Glen Leigh
Gorge trail and to the west is the Ganoga Glen Gorge trail. They
are connected on the north by the Highland Trail. (If you're
confused, check out the map link on the first page...it's really
pretty simple.) The trail is
exceptional. It is well maintained and is quickly repaired when
the wild water it parallels decides to take it out. The whole
trail crosses each stream a number of times, but each is over one of
these nice bridges. Though it is always fun to tromp through the
creek the bridges were nice as high as the water was. |
