Ricketts Glen State Park, Pennsylvania (September, 2003)

I mentioned the nasty forecast...well, it came true.  Moments after we hit the first waterfall it began to sprinkle.  By the second waterfall it was raining and by the third one is was an all out downpour.  Before we got so soaked our underwear was wet we luckily found this overhang and waited it out for about 20 minutes.  After it showed no signs of letting up (i.e. thunder) we decided to brave it and push on.

It was pouring, we were carrying camera gear and we didn't have a dry spot, BUT it was perfect.  There was no one else out there, the weather was ripe for photographing waterfalls and there was this fantastic fog that added a bit of extra magic to the place.
