Hands down the best winery in the valley
is Va La Vineyards. They have decent grounds and a nice new
tasting room, but the wine speaks for itself. We stopped at this
one first and didn't buy more than a bottle or two so we could get
some at the others we stopped at and still be able to carry them on
the plane. Big mistake...we should have bought all we could
possibly carry! The gentleman took great care in explaining each wine to us as we tasted it. We bought the Pinot Grigio for ourselves and the La Prima Donna for a friend. The Barbera was also a great red. They have a nice website too, click here visit it. |
