Brandywine Valley, Philadelphia, PA (September, 2003)

 
Like a lot of other states Pennsylvania is home to a number of wineries.  Unlike most other states though wine is produced in various regions all around the state.

We had an afternoon to spend driving around the wine country west of Philadelphia

Pictured here are the vineyards at Kreutz Creek.  They're huge and provide a very pretty scene.  The winery itself is very unimpressive and the wine is mediocre.
