After that it was time for dinner around
6:30. The Orbit Cafe is the only place to really sit down and
eat. It is setup as a cafeteria and is about what you would
expect-- Mediocre food at astronomical prices. But, hey,
you are a captive audience. The
whole space center was
crowded but not to the point where it was obnoxious. You
had plenty of chance to see and do what you wanted without much
wait. But then again, I have no frame of reference for what a
normal day is.
As a whole the exhibits around the
visitor center area were nice. Nothing was really spectacular
but there was plenty to do. The IMAX was included with the $40
launch day admission as was a bus tour. |
