This is one of the numerous crossing
on Timber Creek. The map indicates that it is an intermittent
stream so it can't be counted on as a water source in the summer and
fall. But in the spring, each crossing is very scenic.
The trail starts at the Lee Pass Trailhead
and runs about 1 mile down to Timber Creek then along the creek for
another mile or two. From there it goes up and over a point and
down to La Verkin Creek. Total distance to the Kolob Arch Trail
/ Hop Valley Trail is 6½ miles and the whole trail doesn't have too much of a severe
elevation change.
