All Around the Washington DC Area (August, 2004)

 
There are so many things to see and do in Washington D.C. you can't begin to do them all in a visit.  This slideshow is a smattering of odds and ends from all around D.C. that didn't end up in a full slideshow.

This is the Union Station in D.C.  I wasn't overly impressed with the appearance or the shops inside.  However, this is still a working train station.

One thing about D.C. is that buildings like this, large, stately, white-colored stone buildings are everywhere.  They almost start to become ordinary!
