All Around the Washington DC Area (August, 2004)

 
A trip to D.C. wouldn't be complete without seeing the White House, especially on a peaceful evening.

In a city of mammoth stone buildings everywhere you turn, the White House, despite all the power it yields, actually appears small.

This, however, doesn't make it any less important.  In fact, as I setup my tripod to click this photo don't think I wasn't being watch.  Click here for a brightness adjusted close-up from this photograph.
