The trailhead was easy to find. The
trail was easy to follow as it headed up the mountain. But at
this point (bottom right of picture) it gets goofy. The trail
running off the right of the photo is a FS road. To the right
goes nowhere. To the left appears to go nowhere. After we got done with the hike we took some gravel / maintained roads to a trailhead only ½ mile from the top. The trail had plenty of off shoots to the right, but none looked like they headed to this spot. (The aspen grove is where we had lunch--previous photo.) For map of all this mess click here.
