You could spend hours just walking around on the boulders checking out all the curiosities and marveling at the oddity of the scene.

I said it was almost devoid of trees.  It looks like this one has been working on it for a long time, and slowly making progress.

In all reality the boulder field is being encroached upon, slowly, by predominately fir trees on all sides.

A road leads right up to the edge so it is fairly accessible.  That's good so all can see, but bad because they are leaving impacts.
